Write About What You Know

I never have any trouble selecting writing topics for my two daily blogs.  My personal blog is all about my life's journey and the people I meet.  Every person I encounter has a story to tell.  These stories attract readers from all over the world.  The same is true with the Cyber-bistro blog for writers.  Writing experts share their knowledge on cyber-guest Friday.  The other six days I write about being a writer.  Often I share a new writing lesson for other writers to ponder.

Writing is not a science -- it's a wide open arena filled with all kinds of opportunities for writers to paint pictures.  Like artists, writers are not confined.  Write about subjects you are well-versed in.  Share your expertise.  Connect with other writers who specialize in your area of interest.

The more you write about what you know, the more you will attract large crowds.  Your audience will appreciate the passion you have for your favorite topic.  Please share what you like to write about in the comments section.  I look forward to hearing from you.

  1. Love to write about how to apply God's Word and how God shows up in the everyday events of my life. Want to help others do this too, so they can "make the most of every opportunity" that He gives them.
